Having destroyed a complete set of these and noticing vastly increased wear running the 'advised' pressure of about 32 psi I contacted Michelin to get some advice.

I ran more pressure than this and notice better wear, about 38 psi cold which rose to about 42 psi hot.

I am now sending you the information about Track/Circuit pressures with Pilot Super Sport tyres. Tips here are more about how to adjust your pressures before starting in able to find the working pressures on track.
Introduction
On Road or On Track: For maximum handling and performance we always recommend the fitting/use of four identical tyres (e.g.tyre range not identical dimensions in some cases).
On circuit: the vehicles geometry adjustments (camber in particular) can be modified to improve the contact patch utilisation especially under acceleration and thus to protect the external shoulders under lateral loads (over use). They will have to be put back to 'road' values before long road use in order to return the handling to a manner as designed by the manufacturer and optimized for road tyre wear
At the start of any track session, road approved tyres should be inflated to the pressures recommended by the vehicle manufacturer for road use, and the tyres must be returned to these pressures for road use after the end of the day. This can either be done with a calculated hot bleed, or the following day they may need topped up/bled once cold

Running the correct pressure for a track will allow you to maximise the tyre to its full potential and reduce wear aspects that could limit tyre life

Road Use:
Adhere to the recommendations of the vehicle manufacturer. Especially in the recommended Cold Tyre pressures for standard or high load/speed use.
Circuit Usage:
Start with a cold pressure of 2.0 bar (29psi) Front & Rear

* If the shoulders of the tread and the edges of the sidewall are heavily worn = Pressure too low
AT THE END OF RUNNING/END OF DAY
At the end of your track day before returning to the roads don't forget to check the list below for your safety & security
Check your tyres for their condition and wear levels to ensure you can drive on the roads safely and within the laws
Allow your tyres to cool before setting their cold pressures again for road use. This may need to be the following day/morning
